    stunning grounds
    friendly staff
    comfortable room
    slow service
    food quality
    tired exterior

I enjoyed my stay at The Ennerdale. The grounds were stunning, perfect for leisurely walks. The staff impressed me with their genuine attentiveness and friendliness. My room, a Standard Double Room, was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable retreat. I particularly appreciated the dog-friendly atmosphere. On the downside, the exterior of the hotel appeared tired and in need of refreshing. The food quality varied, with the evening meal lacking in flavor. Service during peak hours was slow, especially at dinner, which was frustrating. I wished for clearer communication regarding meal options and timing. a lovely place but needs some updates to food and service speed.

    peaceful grounds
    spacious room

The grounds were stunning and such a peaceful retreat, perfect for relaxing walks and enjoying the scenery. The room was spacious and clean, and the quirky homely atmosphere really added to the experience. We specially loved the dog-friendly environment, as our furry friend was well taken care of during our stay! the homemade soup and sandwiches were a highlight for lunch.

Felt free to seek any assistance, nothing to complain about.

    stunning grounds
    lovely breakfast
    delayed dinner

Had a great time with friends here! We loved visiting the nearby lake for some chill time and hiking up the local hills for adventure. The hotel is set in stunning grounds and offers a lovely breakfast. Just a heads-up though, the decor feels a bit dated.

One hiccup was a delayed dinner. our meal took ages to arrive and was definitely not up to par.

    Nice stay with lovely grounds

We spent 3 nights in a twin room and loved how dog-friendly the place was. The grounds are super chill and well-kept, perfect for our pup. The bar and dining area were pretty quaint too. The only thing was that the decor could use a bit of an upgrade—it felt a tad dated. But honestly, the staff were super nice!
